Artist History
Kaneko Kinryo (?-1817) was a painter of the late Edo period. He was born in Edo. He is said to have studied under Tani Buncho, and excelled in flower-and-bird paintings in the style of Shin Nanpin. He is known as the teacher of Watanabe Kazan and Tsubaki Chinzan.
