Artist History
Irie Hako (1887-1948) was a Japanese painter. He was born in Kyoto. He studied under Takeuchi Seiho. He was a member of Kokuga Sōsaku Kyōkai (Association to Create a National Painting Style). He was involved in copying the murals of Horyu-ji Temple.
