Artist History
Abe Masayoshi (1700-1769) was a feudal lord in the mid-Edo period. He was the second lord of Fukuyama Domain in Bingo and the sixth head of the Abe family. He was born in Edo. He was the fourth son of Abe Masakuni, the first lord of Fukuyama Domain. He inherited the family headship at the age of 16 and served as lord for 34 years.
