Artist History
Kano Yasunobu (1614-1685) was a painter of the Kano school in the early Edo period. Born in Kyoto. The third child of Kano Takanobu, his eldest brother was Tan'yu, who established Kajibashi Kano school, and his second brother was Naonobu, who succeeded him as governor of the family. Founder of the Nakabashi Kano school. Hanabusa Itcho was his disciple.
