Sugimoto Kenkichi(1905-2004) was a Japanese Western-style painter. He was born in Aichi Prefecture and studied under Kishida Ryusei in Kyoto. He was selected for special prizes at the Bunten and Nitten exhibitions. He is also known as an illustrator.
